Kobe, Hyogo
What's inside your unit stays invisible until someone opens it up.
We clean wall-mounted units, ceiling cassettes, ventilation fans and range hoods across Kobe. The process is documented plainly below, so you can see what happens to your equipment before you arrange anything.
What we actually do
Most cooling and ventilation problems in a home or small business are not visible from outside the unit. Reduced airflow, a faint smell on startup, or a slow rise in running noise usually trace back to buildup inside the heat exchanger, the fan blades, or the duct run — parts that sit behind a panel most people never open.
Our work is to open that panel, assess what has accumulated, and remove it using equipment suited to each part: high-pressure rinsing for fan wheels, targeted degreasing for kitchen extraction, and careful masking so nothing reaches the surrounding wall, ceiling, or floor. We photograph the fan before and after on wall units, and leave a written note for ceiling cassettes so the record travels with the building.
Self-assessment
The condition scale
Five plain descriptions of internal soiling. Most readers can place their own unit without opening it, just from how it has been behaving.
Clean startup
No odour, steady airflow, recently serviced or new.
Light dust film
Visible dust on the filter, airflow unaffected.
Faint odour on start
A brief musty smell when first switched on, then fading.
Persistent odour
Smell continues through operation, airflow noticeably reduced.
Visible internal buildup
Dust or residue visible past the filter, running noise increased.
How the work is arranged
Protective preparation
Sheeting is fitted before any panel is removed, so residue is contained rather than caught afterward.
Part-specific cleaning
Heat exchangers, fan wheels, and drain lines each need a different approach, and are treated separately rather than with one general pass.
Written or photographic record
Wall units receive before-and-after photographs; cassette units receive a condition note for the maintenance file.
The visit, step by step
Confirm the unit type and access
We confirm which of the five categories applies and check what access the space allows.
Fit protective sheeting
Surrounding walls, floors, or ceiling tiles are covered before any panel comes off.
Disassemble and clean each part
Panels, filters, fan wheels, and heat exchangers are cleaned individually, as described on the offers page.
Reassemble and record
The unit is closed up, tested, and documented before we leave.
